i am unable to get the background settings in microsoft teams

Dear Team ,

 I am using the latest Teams app in my windows 10 laptop. During the meeting for the video I am unable to get the background setting to select a background for my video. Request your help .

    It may be your CPU, background blur requires AVX2, (Haswell or newer chip (2013) )

    Microsoft's SKYPE allows you to do that on the same computer in Windows10. that Teams DO NOT. Just minimize Teams, open MS (R) Skype, then you have blur and custom background. New technologies with less features. Same software provider. BIzarre, isn´t it?

    It will only work if your cpu is able to handle AVX2.

    I know.  They changed their requirements .  Previously it was available amd worked just fine thanks. Not a plausible reason that, sorry

    You're right. It's not working for me either. I have version 1.3.00.9271, working on a 2011 MacBook Pro, running macOS High Sierra. :(
