Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls
I have just upgraded to Teams 33674 but it only works with EOS Webcam Utility Beta 0.9. However, Teams no longer crashes with EWU 1.1.4. Progress is being made :-)

Hi,
I am using Microsoft Teams for my school. I am using EOS Webcam Utility (NOT Beta) with my Canon EOS 80D. It was working perfectly with video calls for school up until about two weeks ago. Now, whenever I turn on my camera in a video call (and the video setting is EOS Webcam), my Teams crashes and I get an error saying, "There was a glitch. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please sign in again."
In my school, there is an expectation that my camera is on, and my computer's webcam is unusable, so I really need this fixed, and quickly.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide.

Yes, I see this same behavior. Manually installing 33674 doesn't crash with the released version of the driver, but it doesn't work. I see a black image, I never see the "EOS" splash screen, never see the camera image. Beta still seems to work. I'll see how well this works after a day of work.
This is a big improvement as I no longer have the issue where I could crash teams if I attempt to change my camera to my built-in laptop webcam. There's been times where, even with the beta driver, the canon webcam doesn't work. In-meeting you can't actually choose a new camera, you just cycle through them - if it picks the 1.1 driver it would crash.
I'd ditch this whole setup if my Dell XPS 15's built-in webcam wasn't so awful.
Finally I could try with my Cameras: Works all as it shold be.
No crashs any longer. If it keep stable, I will remove the Beta soon.
I could as well load my own "ErrorNoDevice.jpg" - so nothing negative left.
?! Looks like the version some are mentionning is not available yet for everybody. I am stuck with this version despite Teams reinstall on 2020/12/07 :
1.3.00.30866 (64 bits)
Any idea?
I got the new Teams client from the link on this Reddit link
Thread for reporting new versions of Teams (desktop) : MicrosoftTeams (reddit.com)
I now get the new Teams functionality (Noise Suppression etc.) but am still having to use the EOS Beta driver.
