Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls
Hi Folks,
As a workaround I find that for meetings the browser version of Teams works fine with the EOS Webcam App.
Cheers,

Hi,
I am using Microsoft Teams for my school. I am using EOS Webcam Utility (NOT Beta) with my Canon EOS 80D. It was working perfectly with video calls for school up until about two weeks ago. Now, whenever I turn on my camera in a video call (and the video setting is EOS Webcam), my Teams crashes and I get an error saying, "There was a glitch. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please sign in again."
In my school, there is an expectation that my camera is on, and my computer's webcam is unusable, so I really need this fixed, and quickly.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
Kane

Do you have a link?
A lot of us have used this archived copy here with much success (and no malware):
https://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/WebCam/Canon-EOS-Webcam-Utility.shtml
I trust softpedia more than other sites for downloading software if I can't get it from the original developer. However, there's always a risk.
I don't know if I mentioned this, but updating my camera's firmware had no positive effect on this issue - so don't waste your time trying that.
Not that having the latest firmware is a bad thing. It did force me to correct a problem with my laptops sd card reader - I had to reinstall a driver. Aren't computers fun!!!??
Thank you mweiss! You were right. Teams updated itself. I installed the old version again and it works now but it's a hassle... I will downgrade the Eos driver.
There is a new Version of Teams out: 1.3.00.33674
Just installed it and selected the EOS WEBCAM Utility (without Camera connected) and it did not crash.
Will try my camera today evening at home, but first of all it looks promesing!
