Hi Kane,
I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this issue.
Firstly, I would suggest you follow the below basic troubleshooting to avoid common issues due to app cache:
- Manually restart the app by right-clicking the icon in your dock (Mac) or taskbar (Windows) and selecting Quit. After you quit, click the app icon to open it again.
- Go to File Explorer, delete any of the files in the following locations:
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\databases
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\cache
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\gpucache
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\Indexeddb
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
• %AppData%\Microsoft\teams\tmp
Also, If the above method still not working. To determine if this user's teams client issue, we would like him to try to login
https://teams.microsoft.com/ and see how it works.
Regards
Nik
Hi Nik,
I have a dell laptop and get Blue screen of Death (BSOD) ONLY when I connect to a MS-Teams meeting....
I have un-installed and re-installed Teams....same issue.
I have deleted all the files in the folders you mentioned...same issue.
I log onto online version https://teams.microsoft.com/ .....same issue
I also tried sfc\scan in command prompt, it said it found and repaired corrupt files....tried teams again...same issue.
I'm really at my wits end.
The funny thing is that my other son has the same exact laptop (I bought them together) and no issues with teams for him.
Has there been any further developments to find solution to this problem?
The BSOD is solely isolated when using TEAMS either by application or online version.
Thank you,
Robert
