Microsoft Teams - Black screen when sharing desktop, works with single application

and back (for the 3rd time) to black screen on 3440x1440

Can you please fix and KEEP IT fixed?

Hello all, as per the title description it was allw orking fine until latest days. When I share my full desktop in teams, other people sees a black screen, but sharing a single application works.

I've tried with the web app and it works fine, it's the local installation that is not working.

I've already tried to reinstall Teams and cleared all the cache but issue persist.

Anyone can help me out? it's driving me nuts

MS is going to have to fix this issue for the desktop app. The only thing you can do as a workaround is to change the resolution to something lower. I have started changing to 1080 res when sharing screen.

:-(  Although i happily reported that 9267 fixed the issue for me; i'm sad to report that : 

As others have mentioned- screen sharing functionality has broken for higher resolutions again; MS teams got an update (1.3.00.12058 (64-bit)), and since this update screen sharing is not possible anymore; resulting in the previous behavior; a black screen.  (working on a 3440x1440 widescreen)

Individual applications can be shared in this resolution by the way. However, not the entire screen, which is quite a hassle since during meetings i'm need to switch applications regularly.
