Hello all, as per the title description it was allw orking fine until latest days. When I share my full desktop in teams, other people sees a black screen, but sharing a single application works.

I've tried with the web app and it works fine, it's the local installation that is not working.

I've already tried to reinstall Teams and cleared all the cache but issue persist.

Anyone can help me out? it's driving me nuts

Thanks

Carlo

yea, I'm 200% sure it's a build issue: it was working fine for me till some days ago, then it suddently stopped working

And since with Web App is working, it's not around policy or whatever: someone just messed up with an update.

I hope they will fix it soon

    Hi All, according to this

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/help-teams-screen-share-not/m-p/1201669/highlight/false#M46226

Microsoft is aware of the issue and working on a fix.

Let's hope they do that soon!

Does anyone have an ETA for Microsoft to fix this?  We have the same issue which is very annoying.

Thanks Shadow649. Good to know that the screen sharing works when you change the resolution.

I've had the same issue for the past couple of weeks (as have other folks on my team).  The screen sharing worked perfectly fine for several months, but something changed in the last few week (software update?).  I just haven't taken the time to test for solutions because I had other screen-sharing options available.  For Microsoft team, it's clearly not a settings issue. Was there a software update?
