Timer or Countdown Clock for MS Teams

Teams really needs a timer function, that can be set within the meeting, whilst sharing a powerpoint!  If it appeared in chat it would be amazing!

Is there a Timer feature in MS Teams?  I am looking to manage student tasks with a countdown timer or similar.

You can go to the team you want to add the timer to then click on add tab. 

After that, search for website app.

Then click on it and add this url:

[https://www.timeanddate.com/timer/]

This will automatically allow you to set a timer online where the students can view in the tab you've created as an owner.

This works well for preplanned tasks but sometimes I want to give them a set amount of time to write something down which changes depending on class level so a prearranged timer on the slides doesn't give me enough flexibility. If i could insert one in the chat or something that would be ideal.

Hi I was just wondering if Microsoft had added the timer feature yet? It would be very useful if timer could be visible to all attendees of a teams meeting I am trying to organize.

Indeed love to have a timer per discussion topic in 1Meeting for example
