Is there a Timer feature in MS Teams?  I am looking to manage student tasks with a countdown timer or similar.

Microsoft really needs to make some improvements to teams for elementary educators. I've tried to use large gallery for my class meeting and had more than 9 students in class but the feature would not work. I did change settings to new meeting appearance? to no avail. Screen sharing can be glitchy where you can only see one student instead of having them on the side of the screen like zoom. They need some tips from zoom. Also, I couldn't see faces of students that were additins to the nine people allowed.

Hi Everybody, I finally make it work using a SharePoint CountDown web part.

My problem was that I have multiple calls to simulate breakout rooms for participants to my session, so sharing the screen wasn't working for me.

    1. Go to sharepoint Page created with the associated Teams group.
    2. Look for Home Page.
    3. Click Edit

    1. Select + Add WebPart CountDown Timer

    1. Republish

With this approach every participant would see the same time inside channels calls as a breakout room

I hope this could help anyone

    Julio

I agree, a timer would be a good feature for students. Some students may not respond well to a timer, so allowing students to hide/unhide the timer would be great.
