Microsoft Teams status is stuck on "Out of Office"

I recently went on vacation and accessed Teams from my tablet for the first time by installing the Teams app. Now I am back at work and using my work laptop. Even though I have signed out of the Teams app on my tablet and removed my work account from all Microsoft apps on my tablet, my Teams status is still stuck as "Out of Office." How can I change it to "Available?"

Things I have tried:

  1. (tablet) Changing status to "Available" on the tablet app
  2. (tablet) Signing out of the tablet app
  3. (tablet) Removing my work accounts from my tablet completely
  4. (laptop) Signing in and out of the Teams app
  5. (laptop) clicking on my profile pic and changing the status to "Available" or any other status. (There is no change at all)
  6. (laptop) typing in the command to change my status to available (no change at all)
  7. (browser) Accessing Teams through Chrome on my laptop and doing 5 and 6 (no effect)

Note that my Skype and Outlook status is correctly set to "Available." I'm at a complete loss and would really like help with this.

Thank you so much for the solution.

Yes- the only Resolution is to Go to Outlook - or your email application.

Go to the Calendars and DELETE all the emails which show- OUT OF OFFICE-  these emails were autoaccepted or accepted by you, delete Out of Office emails for all the members of your office you see.

Once done, wait for about 15 to 20 minutes -  restart your computer, logout and log in from Teams- and makes sure that youre on Available status.

Thank you very much for the resolution guys. i appreciate all the help

It's just a long lag time from my vacation responder that I set every night when I leave.

"If I'm not back in 5 minutes, just wait longer."

Oh ok.  I was OOO yesterday and took it off Outlook this morning; hopefully it will get itself together, thanks.

Deleted all calender events showing OOF and waited a day. After restart I'm still shown as OOF. So, issue not solved for me.

You mention DELETE E-mails. That doesn't sound logic and I would not know how to do so. Hope you can confirm you mean calender item. IF not, how I can find the OOF e-mails. Appreciated.
