I recently went on vacation and accessed Teams from my tablet for the first time by installing the Teams app. Now I am back at work and using my work laptop. Even though I have signed out of the Teams app on my tablet and removed my work account from all Microsoft apps on my tablet, my Teams status is still stuck as "Out of Office." How can I change it to "Available?"
Things I have tried:
Note that my Skype and Outlook status is correctly set to "Available." I'm at a complete loss and would really like help with this.

Yes, that will work, but it does not always sync up. Ive had it take 2+ hours to show im back in the office.
if you set outlook for all day like you would for a holiday or vacation, teams will not show in office on the day you are back with out doing what you and others suggested.
its a product that has been marketed heavily, but has major flaws like this one and the spell checker being worthless.
This article is two years old and I'm still hitting the problem. :D
Anyway, I've just encountered this just now.
Again, I checked my calendar and changed my settings. Logged in and logged out.
I notice an explanation at the end of the thread, I'll get my ITM to check on it later but I've found a workaround.
Hope this helps someone:
You can probably delete the status message but I don't know what happens when you did that.
Hope it helps someone.
I agree this is a terrible feature. Our Project Management team is all over the US and we send all day invites when someone is PTO that shows who is covering them. We send to the whole team since we all need to know. so for everyone to look as if they are PTO vs the only person really PTO is not very functional.
2y later I'm experiencing the same issue. I've been OOO for 5 days and when I came back even if the calendar event was set to finish, even if I set the events on free and afterwards remove them. Even if I uninstalled all teams applications from all devices it will still show me as ooo. I also tried to remove json settings files and meta from AppData/Temp/Cookies and cache. I can't override it manually what kind of UX is this :|?? Please just fix your issues this is not something small, there are lots of business communication apps now, not only lync so you may lose a significant users base due some bugs :|
