Of, sorry, you want me to create a short, "fake" out of office to remove it? Hmm...that seems strange, but sure I can try that.

I recently went on vacation and accessed Teams from my tablet for the first time by installing the Teams app. Now I am back at work and using my work laptop. Even though I have signed out of the Teams app on my tablet and removed my work account from all Microsoft apps on my tablet, my Teams status is still stuck as "Out of Office." How can I change it to "Available?"
Things I have tried:
Note that my Skype and Outlook status is correctly set to "Available." I'm at a complete loss and would really like help with this.

I understand you are no longer out of office. I'm telling you to set one up that will only display for a few minutes. Outlook gives you the option to display the out of office only at certain times. Set it to start at 8:45 am whatever time is closest to when you are setting it up and then set the time for it to stop displaying at the next available time. The longest it might be up is 15 minutes but it solves the problem by turning the OOO off at the time it is scheduled to turn off.
I am no longer out of office and do not need an out of office message. How do I get it removed?
Simply create a new out of office with a start and end time for it to display. Make the end time the closest time available the to start time. (i.e. set it to start displaying at 8 am and to stop displaying at 8:15 am (or whatever time is closest). The out of office will disappear once the time is 8:16 am.)
