I recently went on vacation and accessed Teams from my tablet for the first time by installing the Teams app. Now I am back at work and using my work laptop. Even though I have signed out of the Teams app on my tablet and removed my work account from all Microsoft apps on my tablet, my Teams status is still stuck as "Out of Office." How can I change it to "Available?"
Things I have tried:
Note that my Skype and Outlook status is correctly set to "Available." I'm at a complete loss and would really like help with this.

Someone on my staff sent me their vacation for my calendar. As soon as I declined it, my status cleared up and went to Available. It cleared it right away.
"this "feature" becomes a bug. " - exactly!
If you scroll through the replies you will see ways that work....here is what worked for me and many others who have done what I suggest.
Set up a temporary out of office notice with a start and end time close to the time you create it. It will only display for a few minutes. Outlook gives you the option to display the out of office only at certain times. Set it to start at 8:45 am whatever time is closest to when you are setting it up and then set the time for it to stop displaying at the next available time. The longest it might be up is 15 minutes but it solves the problem by turning the OOO off at the time it is scheduled to turn off.
