Microsoft Teams status is stuck on "Out of Office"

I recently went on vacation and accessed Teams from my tablet for the first time by installing the Teams app. Now I am back at work and using my work laptop. Even though I have signed out of the Teams app on my tablet and removed my work account from all Microsoft apps on my tablet, my Teams status is still stuck as "Out of Office." How can I change it to "Available?"

Things I have tried:

  1. (tablet) Changing status to "Available" on the tablet app
  2. (tablet) Signing out of the tablet app
  3. (tablet) Removing my work accounts from my tablet completely
  4. (laptop) Signing in and out of the Teams app
  5. (laptop) clicking on my profile pic and changing the status to "Available" or any other status. (There is no change at all)
  6. (laptop) typing in the command to change my status to available (no change at all)
  7. (browser) Accessing Teams through Chrome on my laptop and doing 5 and 6 (no effect)

Note that my Skype and Outlook status is correctly set to "Available." I'm at a complete loss and would really like help with this.

    I'm having the exact same issue, and my calendar for today is blank (lucky me) so therefore it is not the 'still not fixed bug' of any appointment/meeting (whether accepted or not) being set as Out of Office.

    I think this is simply a bug whereby Teams doesn't realise my Out of Office in Outlook is now off!

    Any danger of Microsoft fixing this?

    My wife has just informed me that they are continuously having the same issue at her place of work too.

    Thank you so much! I had the same issue with my status being in OOO mode and I removed my vacation time from Calendars in Teams and it is back to "Available" only. Will remember this going forward.

    I had a similar issue in that my boss sends out an appointment whenever he's on annual leave, which is an all day appointment. 

    Your response helped me figure this out, it works if I delete his appointment and possibly will also work if I set it not to be all day, so thank you! 

    Even though I haven't accepted this appointment, Teams is still classing me as being out of the office, regardless of which status I select. 

    This definitely is a bug, especially as my appointment wasn't even accepted by me and I say this as someone who tests software for a living!

    for what it is worth - I went to Account Information within Outlook - clicked Automatic Replies(currently set to Do not send automatic replies)- clicked Send Automatic replies..Ok - Opened back up - clicked Do Not Send Automatic Replies...Ok - oddly enough it worked.

    Remember, the Unified Presence Service can take up to an hour to sync changes to calendar status.  I recommend setting your OOF to expire when you expect to return.  Also, if you manage OOF from mobile device, it sometimes gets "stuck".  Use OWA to confirm auto-reply is off.
