MS TEAMS- "we couldn't complete the call"

Hello,

I've a case where MS Teams, the mobile app was working fine until suddenly it didn't. Every time we try joining a call, we get the message "we couldn't complete the call". Is there a reason for this? Does anybody have any idea how to resolve this?

    For me, downloading and installing an older version of the app let me use Teams again. I had the "couldn't complete call" issue with the 8/12 release on my Samsung S5, and the 8/7 release works.

    This is a workaround, not a final solution, but hopefully it can help people until the problem in the app is fixed.

    This problem has started just a few days ago and it is completely device related as i tried joining from 2 accounts and both got the same problem.I am getting this error after i started using my wifi's data and it was all right until I used my mobile data.I am encountering this problem on android 5 and my android 9 phone was all right

    This issue very specific to their recent update and also specific to devices too.

    My Kid also using Amazon Fire Tablet. Multiple uninstall and install didn't work. One work around I have done is downgrade the Teams version by installing APK separately ( not via Google play store). Installed 1416.20200728 version.

    It worked fine for me. Able to join the calls.

    This could help some one facing the similar issue. Its work around not solution.

    can you share link as well? I tried 3 older versions from apkmirror but was unable to install even a single one.
