Error code - caa30194

There's a more permanent way to sign in to Microsoft Teams. If you're having trouble completing the process, talk to your IT admin"

Our company has been using Teams  for a while, it works very well for me until today. I can't sign in Teams desktop in my computer after I upgraded my OS from Win7 to Win10. But the funny part is that Teams web and Teams in my Phone(android)  are still working very well. The desktop Teams feedbacks with error code: 0xCAA30194, which is attached below. Can anyone help with it? Thanks in advance.

I had the same issue and this fix the problem for me.

Upon looking deeper into the Teams log, it was noticed that the runtime failure was causing because of the file not found errors related to all 4 JSON files in the Teams installable location below. Though the json files were exist on that location but I assume that they may have got corrupted. I have deleted all 4 json files along with logs file from this location and restart the Teams, sign in and BOOM!!. All the 4 Json files and a log file has been re-created and no issues logging into Teams since then😊

I have multiple users experiencing the same thing. Error code 0xCAA30194; Most can use the web version but the desktop app is "failing to connect". I have trouble tickets coming in left and right over the past few days. I followed these instructions, removed and reinstalled, cleared ccmcache. I am at a loss.

    Hi,Shawn!

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I have already tried the instructions you mentioned above, however, unfortunately the error persists.

I'd like to try send error log to you if possible.

    Regards!

    Dahai
