Hi!

I'm having trouble using my new wh-1000xm5 headphones in Teams on laptop and it is no problem with the initial connection process to windows using bluetooth. It can find two outputs to the headphones, handsfree and stereo. I use the stereo as primary but have tried with both. However, in teams calls using the windows application I can't use the microphone on the headphones, people can't hear me and then my sound disappear. The sound works fine and with good quality while using laptop microphone but when switching to headphone mic the sound disappear again.

Any idea what the problem is?

Hi Mustafa, I am having the same issue with my WF1000 XM4 and WH1000 XM4. But only on the windows 11 PC using teams. Other chat apps work with the headphones. And it works on my same laptop that is windows 10.

Hi Mustafa, I have the same issue with Sonny WH-1000XM5 headphones using MS team on a windows 11 laptop. I can not hear the conversation in MS Team, My MS team is configured correctly (see below). I can hear sound from youtube but not from the MS team.

If I use wired headphone or wireless Airpod2, both work perfectly with the MS team on a windows 11 laptop.

My Sonny WH-1000XM5 work perfectly with the MS team on my iPhone. So my solution was to join the meeting from both laptop and my iPhone. I hope i could make my Laptop MS team work with Sonny WH-1000XM5

Can confirm, Sony WH-1000XM5, identical issue. When I try to split my devices in Teams, with the WH-1000XM5 as the audio output and then use a different microphone device for input, all sound cuts out, in/out everywhere. I can immediately rectify the problem by setting the mic-in back to the WH-1000XM5.

Headphones/Mic have no issues on iOS/Android, the problem only exists on Windows 11 with Microsoft Teams.

    Hi All,

To add on, I'm also facing the same issue with any Bluetooth headset and Teams. Running on Windows 10.

No issue previously. Issue only started a few months back.

I have the same + additionally me voice sounds 'robot' like when I speak.. I'd say I would expect more from a 300$ headset, but it's not the headset.. it's the teams integration..

I've tried with a Jabra M65 Bluetooth and the same issue there.

    Any resolution would be appreciated.
