Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls
Hi. I did it, but i doesn't work. I think it's an Windows issue, as it's not detecting the microphone. When i click in "connect" nothing happens.

Hi!
I'm having trouble using my new wh-1000xm5 headphones in Teams on laptop and it is no problem with the initial connection process to windows using bluetooth. It can find two outputs to the headphones, handsfree and stereo. I use the stereo as primary but have tried with both. However, in teams calls using the windows application I can't use the microphone on the headphones, people can't hear me and then my sound disappear. The sound works fine and with good quality while using laptop microphone but when switching to headphone mic the sound disappear again.
Any idea what the problem is?

I'm having the same issue! The wh-1000xm5 works fine with everything, but when MS Teams detects my voice during a video call, the headphone changes to the "ambient sound" mode and no one can hear me. Please, solve it!
I just came to a point and force stopped the app on my phone to prevent it from switching.
I have the same issue. on 7th Feb it was working fine but then the problem started after windows 10 receive all the pending updates. Headset input and output working fine with other apps. It seems the problem is linked with windows or teams
I am having the same issues using XM5.
I have two devices connected, one to my Pixel 6 and one to Windows 10. I do a lot of meetings in Teams on my PC. I have noticed when I do not speak for a while. The others cannot hear me until I disconnect and reconnect. This is driving me crazy every time I have to do this.
I also noticed in the app Manage Connected Device that the speaker icon switches back to my Pixel 6 phone. I am, however, still connected to my Windows 10 computer, which displays "Connected voice and music." But the other people in the meeting cannot hear me unless I disconnect and reconnect.
On the phone app, if I click on my PC name to switch, I get an alert: "The playback device cannot be switched during a phone call. Is this normal?"
Should I disable this switching back and forth?
What is an easy way to prevent this from happening?
