I have it the other way around.... Microsoft Teams keep adjusting my microphone level down to 0%, so that no one can hear me when I speak.... It's definitely a Microsoft issue — other software that use the Microphone do not do this.
Although I also see variations between different microphones. Microsoft Teams (for me) always adjusts the microphone level down to 0%, but on some mirophones, it adjusts the microphone level up when I start to speak. On others, it just keeps it at zero percent
— as if it is muting.
So, I think this is a algorithm error on Microsoft's part on trying to improve audio performance and reduce background noise, but it doesn't always work — and of course they didn't give people options to tune it or turn it off....
