Chats not refreshing / showing latest messages in microsoft teams

For some reason all of a sudden I cannot see any new messages in the chat during class on my laptop. The messages appear on my mobile but they arnt coming in the chat on my PC. Please help me the chat is very vital for my classes

Yes. This is what we see. Clearing the cache updates all versions, but the Mobile and Browser versions update themselves without clearing the cache.

So far the survey shows that most users (about 70%) do not see this issue at all, though they are using the same versions as the ones who do see the issue.

All are on Windows 10.

All are using both Mobile and Desktop.

None are using the browser version.

    Thanks for the reply Jay. Mine is happening on direct chats between myself and other individuals, and only after I've switched between orgs at least once.

    You stated that you confirmed that this is ONLY Teams channels - not in Chat. My team's experience if that we are missing messages in Chat. Not sure about Teams channels, but definitely in Chat.

    This is also happening for me under Chat. I am also switching between Organizations.

    Yes, I have also noticed this issue crop up in the last few days. I wonder if impacted by a recent update as was working fine previously?
