Yes. This is what we see. Clearing the cache updates all versions, but the Mobile and Browser versions update themselves without clearing the cache.

So far the survey shows that most users (about 70%) do not see this issue at all, though they are using the same versions as the ones who do see the issue.

All are on Windows 10.

All are using both Mobile and Desktop.

None are using the browser version.

Hi Veejay - thanks for this.

I also have the same problem, I am running Mac OS 11.5.2 Big sur. Teams version 1.4.00.22265. My issues started last week Thursday the 9th. I am switching between 2 orgs throughout the day, and I notice my problems start only once I've switched to another org for the first time. Once I do that, I only receive my messages on my mobile. Then sometimes when I switch back the messages show, other times it does not. Then I have to restart teams to see my messages.

I have cleared the folders you describe (I deleted the whole Teams folder. I also went to Library/Caches and deleted the Teams folder there. Cleared my bin, restarted my mac, cleared the non volitile ram, and re-installed teams. I still have the same problem.

As a temporary solution, I am not running my primary org in teams desktop client, and secondary org on the browser.

The workaround is none of the things you've tried, but what I described earlier:
Hide/unhide the channels where you are experiencing this.
