Chats not refreshing / showing latest messages in microsoft teams

For some reason all of a sudden I cannot see any new messages in the chat during class on my laptop. The messages appear on my mobile but they arnt coming in the chat on my PC. Please help me the chat is very vital for my classes

Yes. This is what we see. Clearing the cache updates all versions, but the Mobile and Browser versions update themselves without clearing the cache.

So far the survey shows that most users (about 70%) do not see this issue at all, though they are using the same versions as the ones who do see the issue.

All are on Windows 10.

All are using both Mobile and Desktop.

None are using the browser version.

    Same issue. Everyone in my company has the same issue. None of the suggested fixes work. The workaround we have to use is, anytime we toggle between organizations in Teams, we have to switch, then quit the Teams service completely, then start teams up again. This is causing a lot of issue with communication on our team.

    Same issue here too...

    Any fix mentioned so far is only temporary. The problem persists!
