Chats not refreshing / showing latest messages in microsoft teams

For some reason all of a sudden I cannot see any new messages in the chat during class on my laptop. The messages appear on my mobile but they arnt coming in the chat on my PC. Please help me the chat is very vital for my classes

Yes. This is what we see. Clearing the cache updates all versions, but the Mobile and Browser versions update themselves without clearing the cache.

So far the survey shows that most users (about 70%) do not see this issue at all, though they are using the same versions as the ones who do see the issue.

All are on Windows 10.

All are using both Mobile and Desktop.

None are using the browser version.

    Those should all be stored in O365 cloud and should re-cache after this is done

    I too am not having any luck with this.

    Steps taken on Win10 system

    Signed out of MS Teams

    Deleted Teams folder as mentioned above

    Rebooted system

    Uninstalled MS Teams

    Reinstalled MS Teams

    Signed in as user

    It shows new messages upon sign in - but doesn't receive new messages.  Can send out though.

    Other than reloading the user's system, I'm out of ideas here.
