Teams away setting automatically switching on when not away

Hi there,

My teams status is constantly switching to "away" while I am working on my computer. This is very frustrating as my co-workers need to know when I am actually away or available.

Is there a manual override for this? It would be excellent to be able to set it as available so that my team knows they can reach my even if I am working on paper, or in this case if it has switched itself to "away".

Thanks!

Same issue here, and unfortunatelly we use the response group with the longest idle logics, so we literally lose calls because teams goes "away" even if you're active on laptop.

Opened a premier support case. Waiting for response..

Not something Ive seen here but just noticed this AM perhaps we can crowdsource here to test:

Set your status using the mobile app, where duration option hasnt been added.

I set mine to Do Not Disturb on the yesterday afternoon and it didnt automatically switch on my desktop this morning.

No guarantees (Platform, version, etc — Im on I'm on iOS and Mac btw) but worth a shot.

Nope. There have been quite a few folks who have added to the thread and some "bubblegum" fixes including the duration setting for status but nothing that makes it what it should be. I don't understand why they can't just link it to your outlook calendar and have it use activity on the computer rather than in Teams. Never had this issue with Skype....just sayin!
