Hi there,
My teams status is constantly switching to "away" while I am working on my computer. This is very frustrating as my co-workers need to know when I am actually away or available.
Is there a manual override for this? It would be excellent to be able to set it as available so that my team knows they can reach my even if I am working on paper, or in this case if it has switched itself to "away".
Thanks!

I can't even manually set it to available after it sets itself to away, it just gets stuck on away. I was in a call, still showing me as away. Fix this Microsoft.
I really need this to function correctly. I'm on my laptop all day and if Teams is not my active window it flips to AWAY which is frustrating. Can't it even stay Available or even Busy while it's not the active Window? I'm running the latest builds of both Windows and Teams.
Win10 Version 2004 19041.685
Teams build 1.3.00.28779 (64-bit)
I want to turn off this feature where it automatically sets my status to AWAY while I'm working in other programs or with Teams in the background. It looks like I'm not working during work hours, and I am. I have to re-change my status to Available/green 10- 15 times a day and its frustrating.
Just wondering why it has to be so difficult for them and taking so long to fix this obvious problem. If they can't think of a solution why don't they just copy the code from MS Skype for their 'Status settings' and patch it in MS Teams, as Skype status works perfectly fine. Both apps are owned by them and still we see such a major issue in one that they want us to prefer.
