Moving posts from one channel/Team to another?

PLEASE fix this!

The first channel in a team is General We use it to discuss for the work we do.

We have a second for office discussions and call it Internal

But because we aren't allowed to change the name "General", people put things in the wrong channel.

This is problem your system is creating - and won't let us fix.

You can set channels to "only allow admins to post", not ideal but helps.

Very large company here.

It is quite incredible that in 2023 we cant still move a discussion from one channel to another.

Please wake up MS Devs !! Are you only using Teams @ Microsoft to not realize that this is an extremely annoying lack of feature that should get implemented ASAP ??

You need to order and organize your channels when you have large groups of people because you can't assume that all of them will properly post the proper information in the proper channel. And then everything becomes a complete mess because we don't have basic moderation tools !

I mean this is a FACT since the first forums in the 90ies and you still don't realize it ??

My colleagues and I came to Teams whilst battling the Covid-19 pandemic. Training in its use was either non-existent or minimal at best. As a result our system is cluttered with Teams and Channels many of which hold useful posts which need to be moved to more streamlined Teams and Channels. Ideally I am looking to move the whole post history from one channel to a newly created channel in an entirely differet Team. But how???? I cannot for the life of me find a solution to this. Its a mess and simply puts off colleagues using Teams and resort to going back to email for conversations ....arrggghhh!! Can anyone come to my rescue!?

This is terrible! Please include this feature ASAP. Shameful that its not available. So basic, I'm still astonished. Real Teams PM blunder. Thanks alot guys!
