Moving posts from one channel/Team to another?

Indeed! For those of us who set up a Team for an initial need where scope changes and we have a greater need for additional channels, this feature would be MOST helpful. My interest lies in copying Chat from the General channel. Looking forward to any developments!

We definitely need the ability to move and rename channels. Channel movement needs to be across teams. At a minimum all the chats and files need to move with the channel.

This is not enough.  Features stop short of what is needed.

As suggested by Teams Engineering from the link given above, "if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies."

To move files, go to the Files tab under the channel, select the files you want to move or copy. Click on move or copy. To select a different team as the destination, click up two times until the list of teams appears. Then, select the team you want to move the files to then the channel and click move/ copy.
