Teams - Revert to Classic Emojis

Greetings!

Microsoft Teams recently rolled out the Microsoft Fluent emoji style in Teams. This change altered all emojis and reactions across the platform and made them look incredibly displeasurable and unusual. In a business environment, I would venture to say the updated emojis are unusable due to the fact that they are so silly (for lack of a better word). I have thus far been unable to revert the emojis back to the way they were before this update; however, I would like to do this, as would my team. Is there any way to revert the emojis back to the way they were before this Microsoft Fluent emoji style update?

    Those new emojis are far from being OK for business environment in general. Of course it depends on what business you are doing but, old, classic emojis were OK for any kind of...

    Is this really what Microsoft spent time on? Sorry guys but these are too light-minded...

    Please change them back to the classic ones and stop us sending strange emotional expressions...

    I've been told by a colleague that Microsoft won't even entertain changing these until there are at least 10000 votes. Even then 10000 would be a drop in a bucket because of how many users there are that aren't complaining.
    Please encourage your colleagues to also upvote.

    This is the worst change to Teams I've seen. The icons are garbage. Hard to tell what they are. They are creepy and unprofessional. What was Microsoft thinking with this needless change? I expect much better.

    Totally agree. Don't know anyone at our organisation who likes these new emojis - and we're mostly silly people! They're just rubbish and worse than their predecessors in every way 😒
