Teams - Revert to Classic Emojis

Greetings!

Microsoft Teams recently rolled out the Microsoft Fluent emoji style in Teams. This change altered all emojis and reactions across the platform and made them look incredibly displeasurable and unusual. In a business environment, I would venture to say the updated emojis are unusable due to the fact that they are so silly (for lack of a better word). I have thus far been unable to revert the emojis back to the way they were before this update; however, I would like to do this, as would my team. Is there any way to revert the emojis back to the way they were before this Microsoft Fluent emoji style update?

    I also find these emoji's to be distasteful and childish and would like a return to the original ones.

    You're not listening to the feedback, Microsoft. Don't put more lipstick on this "pig" (the new emojis). Revert. Revert. Revert. You've lost touch with the business world in favor of the pre-teens and bathroom humor. Example: We don't need 5 different "kiss" emojis in a business environment! Are you trying to get us more "face-time" with HR?

    There are thousands of comments here about how awful these are, along with Reddit and many other public forums. Almost nobody disagrees how terrible the new emojis are.
    It's a trivial thing to focus on, but I have to hope that Microsoft will see their mistake after so much feedback.

    Presumably they spent too much money to "invent" the fluent design emojis so they will not go back to the really great Skype emojis that are the best emojis of all messengers. Why not integrate a switch to let the user choose between nice emojis and new emojis?

    Using Skype for nearly 19 years the day that Skype will change to the new emojis will be the day that I start using Whatsapp (which has silly emojis too). It will be a pain.

    P.S.: I wish Microsoft would not have bought Apple shares in 1997 so we still had Windows 10 Mobile and Metro/Modern UI on all devices. Now we have Apple-droid UI on Windows 11.
