Calls View in Teams has changed

Somehow overnight my Teams calls view has changed from the default which I prefer. It now reflects  History in the middle of the page, speed dial on the right hand side of the page and the ability to make a call on the left side of the page.

I prefer to go back to the speed dial view with contacts and etc in the left pane. Can someone please provide guidance how to get the default view back?

    I've looked further and found that Microsoft has released new calling capabilities for Microsoft Teams in May 2021 updates.

    Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

    It looks like that there is a new look rolled out for the calls app, and I don't see an option to revert this look to the previous one.

    To look further and see if there is any recent update to the layout of the calls app, could you please let what MS Teams app version you have?

    To find out what version of Teams you’re on, click your profile picture at the top of the app, then click About > Version. This shows you a banner at the top of the app that tells you what version you're running and when it was last updated.
