No sound when entering a Meeting on Teams

Hello,

I have observed on numerous occasions that when I enter a Meeting on the Microsoft Teams Windows app (with my Mic and Camera off, because it is university related and someone else is presenting) I can't hear anything. It doesn't happen all the time. I have tried entering the Meeting again and sometimes it works and I can hear. I have also opened the Volume mixer and that was not the issue (the Meeting was note muted). I even tried reinstalling the App. This only happens in a Meeting, not a private call with someone else and only on the Windows app, not the browser. I would like to use the App though, so does anyone know how I can solve this?

Thank you in advance!

It won't work in both android, PC app and PC web. I have tried joining as guest and signed 20 times already.

The question is WHY IS IT SO COMPLICATED?

In Google Meet and Zoom I just hit once and everything works fine.

This happened to me and another user at the office yesterday. I switched the Teams meeting to my cell phone. Same problem!

Switched back. Same problem. Reconnected to the meeting didn't help. My colleague was able tor resolve this by toggling her microphone on and off quickly. The same thing worked for me. ?!?!

I think you must be completely thick. He is asking about Linux you provide information about some crackpot operating system. The fact of the matter is, you have changed something recently on MS-TEAMS so that it is (deliberately) crippled on Linux and Chrome (and also your own **** browser called EDGE is no difference). Microsoft is back to old tack ticks. When we install your virus (called MS-TEAMS app on Linux, it works). But the MS-TEAMS app on Linux is a virus. You can't shut it, once started it automatically set to start up -- auto start, despite switching off).

Please take me to a world where there is no Microsoft, please god!

Same problem here. I run on a Mac on native app, no browser. I connect to a meeting, and I use bluetooth headphones. I can hear the call sound and as I connect, the sounds disappears and I cannot hear people in the call for at least 30 secs, but they can hear me. The headphones definitely work. Restarting the call usually makes the trick.

This is a very annoying issue. I have never had ay issue in the past with Slack. Any feedback from MS??
