It would be great if when a user is sharing their screen during a video call, the list of participants and their small video feeds were shown above the shared content rather than below it. Many times people are looking at themselves or other participants when speaking, and it looks to others like their eyes are closed. By moving the user's own image and the images of others to the top of the screen, above the shared content, there's a better likelihood that users will be looking upwards towards the camera rather than down.
Can this be changed in user settings or is this an optimization request?

Dear MICROSOFT, you are one of the biggest tech giant and got 100s of teams building such products.
ZERO laptops in the market have the camera in the bottom of the screen, do you really lack this level of COMMON SENSE so have people on video look like idiots looking at their foot??
Come on guys! Learn from Zoom!!! Get your game together if you want to stay competitive
This is a very basic best practice requirement that Microsoft has completely missed.
For the best immersive video conference experience, the best practice is to ensure that the participants are experiencing that the other participants to be looking into the camera, i.e. at you. The only way to achieve this is to allow the video presentation windows to be moved to the best location, such as close to a webcam or specifically to another window in a multi-screen setup.
While we wait for this requirement, we for important meetings recommend the use of competing products like Zoom, Webex and Gotomeeting that fully meet these requirements

Almost every PC camera is on the top of the computer. Looking to the bottom of the screen to see people's video makes it appear that you are never looking at your meeting participants in the eye. This looks bad on a small screen laptop, but it looks really terrible if you have a good camera sitting on top of a large screen monitor. PLEASE make an option to move videos to the top of the screen. Honestly, this is the single worst feature of Teams and causes me to prefer essentially any other platform over it.
