Moving the participants' videos to the top instead of bottom of screen

It would be great if when a user is sharing their screen during a video call, the list of participants and their small video feeds were shown above the shared content rather than below it. Many times people are looking at themselves or other participants when speaking, and it looks to others like their eyes are closed. By moving the user's own image and the images of others to the top of the screen, above the shared content, there's a better likelihood that users will be looking upwards towards the camera rather than down.

Can this be changed in user settings or is this an optimization request?

It has been months since hundreds of people said it is a MUST HAVE FIX, and Teams team still debating. Honestly, it is a basic UX requirement. Requires a high priority!

Agreed. This would be a massive improvement for Teams! Consider this my upvote on this.

I'm self-concious every single day in 'stand-up' because I look either inattentive or asleep because I'm looking DOWN. My camera is on the TOP of my friggin screen.

    Come on guys!

Make your great product even better by implementing this!!

    Please?

This would be awesome if we had this capability.  It would definitely give the feel of more eye contact and, thus, making it feel more like a real conversation in person.

It appears this is available in uservoice at "41235238-rearrange-video-pane-window-in-teams".  But very few votes.  Maybe a link to where to vote will help:  https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/41235238-rearrange-video-pane-window-in-teams
