It would be great if when a user is sharing their screen during a video call, the list of participants and their small video feeds were shown above the shared content rather than below it. Many times people are looking at themselves or other participants when speaking, and it looks to others like their eyes are closed. By moving the user's own image and the images of others to the top of the screen, above the shared content, there's a better likelihood that users will be looking upwards towards the camera rather than down.
Can this be changed in user settings or is this an optimization request?

This has been fixed! Teams now will put the attending panel either on the top or the side depending on your window dimension.
How do I endorse this question?! I agree completely, this is a subtle but major drawback to Teams for video calls. Please look to fix!
Please makes this change! It makes much more sense in trying to create a connection with the others on the call.
