It would be great if when a user is sharing their screen during a video call, the list of participants and their small video feeds were shown above the shared content rather than below it. Many times people are looking at themselves or other participants when speaking, and it looks to others like their eyes are closed. By moving the user's own image and the images of others to the top of the screen, above the shared content, there's a better likelihood that users will be looking upwards towards the camera rather than down.
Can this be changed in user settings or is this an optimization request?

I agree wholeheartedly. Quite honestly I am shocked that no one thought of this during the development phase. Please move the people to the TOP of the screen so it looks like we are actually looking at each other.

I agree. It would be beneficial to move the video bar to the top of the TEAMS window, rather than have the bar on the bottom, as cameras are on the top of computers, so it always looks like you're looking down when viewing others' videos.
This really is an issue. Even before COVID it was important to be able to reposition the windows for participants is important. Not just eye contact but EVERYONE is looking down in the videos. If I want to make a point I have to COMPLETELY lose sight of the screen so I can look up.
It is not the feature of a quality product. I am forced to use this product, please make it something that. at least don't mind using. Like Zoom or WebEx.
