I JUST CALLED A GROUP CHAT OF 20 PEOPLE AT 9PM BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID KEYBOARD SHORTCUT CONVIENENTLY PLACED NEXT TO THE PASTE SHORTCUT

WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA

Could you please explain how I can do this? I'm going in circles online trying to get to the settings and make this change. Alternatively, pretend I'm 10 and use pictures for each step (because the site is NOT helpful). Thanks!

Someone posted this type of fix already a year ago, but the problem is that most companies do not allow their end users to mess around the registry. Only IT admins/Support staff have those permissions.

You'd think Microsoft would have made that option available already but.... nope.

Good point about the Ctrl-Shift-V closeness to the Ctrl-Shift-C
In my case I use windows terminal very often and frequently copy text out using Ctrl-Shift-C. (Ctrl-C is not cool in a terminal in almost any OS shell)
Windows terminal is built into windows 11 now. Ctrl-Shift-C is a copy in windows terminal.
Now if you want to copy something out of teams and muscle memory tricks you into calling someone, you end up here.
