Unless I'm completely mistaken, if you use the "New Teams" version (currently 24074.2323.2827.4973) and not the "Classic" one, there's now a confirmation popup when you trigger the command with the mouse:

I JUST CALLED A GROUP CHAT OF 20 PEOPLE AT 9PM BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID KEYBOARD SHORTCUT CONVIENENTLY PLACED NEXT TO THE PASTE SHORTCUT
