Hi GeorgeRoberson,

Since reinstall Teams can temporarily fix this issue, you can try to sign out and kill Teams from Task Manager to see how it goes.

If the problem persists, you can try to clear Teams cache to see if it can help:

1.  Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. You can right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’ or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.

2.  Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.

3.  Once in the directory, you’ll see a few of the following folders:

========================================================

 a.  From within ‘Application Cache’, go to Cache and delete any of the files in the Cache location.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache

 b.  From within ‘Blob_storage’, delete any files that are located in here if any.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage

 c.  From within ‘Cache’, delete all files.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache

 d.  From within ‘databases’, delete all files.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases

 e.  From within ‘GPUCache’, delete all files.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache

 f.  From within ‘IndexedDB’, delete the .db file.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB

 g.  From within ‘Local Storage’, delete all files.

    *   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage

 h.  Lastly, from within ‘tmp’, delete any file.

*   %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp

====================================================

Once the cleanup is finally completed, you can now restart Teams and check the results.

Best Regards,

Sylvie

    Here's the workflow, since I doubt an MS employee is aware of this:

    Teams boots, --> Teams crashes
    Teams boots user with wrong domain presented, (Using a trusted domain)
    Click Login as different user
    Give email address, --> Teams crashes
    Restart button, click reset

    ^--- this workflow repeats (goto line 1), but lets take a different branch for your information:

    ...click reset
    Teams boots wrong domain presented, (we use a trusted domain)
    Click Login [as wrong user (teams doesn't know the password to this domain)] --> Teams crashes
    Restart button, click reset

    ^--- this whole workflow repeats (goto line 1)

    Instead lets fix the problem:

    Kill teams
    Uninstall teams
    Remove cache credentials
    Delete 3 folders in AppData
    Reinstall teams
    (btw this information was told to me by a non-microsoft contractor/employee. MS scuks)

    Teams starts up --> Teams crashes
    Teams automatically restarts presenting the wrong domain again
    Click Login as different user
    Give email address, --> Teams crashes
    Teams automatically restarts presenting the wrong domain again
    Click Login as different user
    Long delay, password screen (often times shown in white-on-white text no images, visible buttons nor textboxes)
    Type in password press enter
    Teams starts up

    All custom settings are lost (thanks a lot!)

    ^----- meanwhile DURING ALL OF THIS!!! -------v

    I am logged in the network, doing work checking emails
    I am (or could be) logged in and using my android phone to teams and chatting and holding meetings
    I am (or could be) logged in and using teams over firefox, chrome, even that crappy browser edge
    Never once are any of these applications bothered or giving any indication of any problem

    Did this come from a highly paid microsoft consultant? Why didn't we think of this???

    @Microsoft If you think his solves the problem, you do not understand the problem.

    This was the awesome trick thanks to '@ToddNipper' here is what i did

    > Quit your teams from your Taskmanager / kill the process

    >Go to ->Windows 10 > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school

    >if there is no account added please add them and retry if not you will see your account is already connected

    > Please disconnect your account and then add the account once again

    >Once account is added restart your system

    >Enjoy your hot TEAMS. ;)
