Hello Sai Raju,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

Regarding to the problem that the calendar tab is missing, there is a chance that someone changed the related policy. To check it, please contact Office 365 administrator to go to Microsoft Teams admin center and then follow the steps below:

1.  Sign into Microsoft Teams admin center as an Office 365 administrator.

2.  Click Users in the left pane and then select your account.

3.  In your account information page, click Policy and select the policy under App setup policy.

4.  In Pinned apps section, please check whether Calendar is in the list. If not, click Add apps to add Calendar into the list.

If the issue still persists, please provide the following information to me for further assistance:

  1.  Please confirm with other users whether they encountered the same problem.

2.  Please provide the screenshot of this issue to me.

3.  Whether the Calendar shows up in Teams Web App?

4.  Since you mentioned that you got license error when sign into Outlook Web App, please try this link in InPrivate/incognito mode and check whether you can sign in: https://outlook.office365.com. If you still get error, please share the screenshot of the error with me and I will do my best to help you.

Regards,

Seven

    Hi!

well, I solved the problem. I bought 365 for Business, which apparently does not include the ability to schedule meetings on Teams. Don’t know why - it’s a business package... Anyway, I got a refund and bought the more expensive Premium Plus package. Works fine. I should have checked before I bought. Hope this helps others.

And thanks for your input everyone.

    Dear all,

we also experienced that when setting up MS TEAMS the MS TEAMS CALENDAR was suddenly missing. Online research did unfortunately not help us.

I contacted the MS TEAMS Online Support and after two days and two calls by a well experienced person we could solve the problem

=> We needed to change an "Exchange Setting" in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Pleas note that this does not mean that you have to work with Exchange, it is a default setting obviously required in the whole MS TEAMS Setup so that the calendar appears in the MS TEAMS App.

Please note also that you have to do this in the "old style" admin center.(for some reason the functionality is not available in the new style admin center). Tricky to know!

I have added some screenshots in German to illustrate where to go to and what do change...

    Our procedure was as follows:

Step 1: Log into the Microsoft 365 admin center (https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home#/homepage)

Step 2: Select from the menu "Users" => then select "Active Users"

Step 3: Change to the "old style" admin center layout (button on top right)

Step 4: Select the responsible Admin User... a new pop up menu will apear...

Step 5: Select in this pop up menu "product licenses" and edit the licenses...

(Note: Menu items might be sligthly different in English)

Step 6: The licenses will show up (more than one license can appear, depending on your organization)

Now click on the little arrow (pointing downwards) to show further details...

Step 7: At the end of the list of on/off settings, there is the setting "Exchange Online".

    This must be "on".

Step 8: After you changed the setting, wait for approximately 24 hours to see the effect in the MS TEAMS App. The calendar will appear again.

Hope this helps others to resolve the issue.

    Best regards,

    Thomas

PS: I did this all on Mac and I work with the MS TEAMS App now on Mac (MacBook Air, 11")

I have experienced that when using the different dynamic background options in the App, this requires a high amount of computer power, so that I typically do not active this. However the feature is a very good one!

    Hi DB428,

Thanks for your reaction. However i understood that Teams should be included in Business package.

So, purchasing a premium Package is in my opion not the correct solution.

    Freddy
