Hello Sai Raju,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

Regarding to the problem that the calendar tab is missing, there is a chance that someone changed the related policy. To check it, please contact Office 365 administrator to go to Microsoft Teams admin center and then follow the steps below:

1.  Sign into Microsoft Teams admin center as an Office 365 administrator.

2.  Click Users in the left pane and then select your account.

3.  In your account information page, click Policy and select the policy under App setup policy.

4.  In Pinned apps section, please check whether Calendar is in the list. If not, click Add apps to add Calendar into the list.

If the issue still persists, please provide the following information to me for further assistance:

  1.  Please confirm with other users whether they encountered the same problem.

2.  Please provide the screenshot of this issue to me.

3.  Whether the Calendar shows up in Teams Web App?

4.  Since you mentioned that you got license error when sign into Outlook Web App, please try this link in InPrivate/incognito mode and check whether you can sign in: https://outlook.office365.com. If you still get error, please share the screenshot of the error with me and I will do my best to help you.

Regards,

Seven

    Hi Azad,

    Thanks for your posting here.

According to your description, the Calendar ****has been added in Teams admin center. Given this situation, there is a chance that your organization disabled Exchange Web Services protocol for specific users. So you can contact your Office 365 admin to check it by following the steps below:

    1. Open Windows PowerShell as an administrator and connect to Exchange Online PowerShell.

    1. Run the cmdlet: Get-CASMailbox "Identity Name" | fl ews* and then check whether EwsEnabledis false.
    2. If the value is false, run the cmdlet: Set-CASMailbox "Identity Name" -EwsEnabled $True.

If you still have any problem, I suggest you create a new thread about your problem in our category and our support engineers will provide dedicated assistance to you.

    Regards,

    Seven

    Hi there,

same issue. We aren't using Exchange Online and any calendar-related features is not working at all.

About 5-6 months ago even with Skype for Business we haven't been able to schedule a meetings from Outlook. Earlier it worked just fine but out-of-the-blue one day there appeared a notice that "you have no rights to schedule a meetings on behalf of this user" and nothing happens. This notice is got after pressing a Skype-meeting button from Outlook.

Now with teams same problem. No calendar seeing in app/desktop and from Outlook after pressing Teams-meeting button we get notice "Connection to server is not pobbile right now".

So Seven could you please confirm: is it so that Teams or Skype for Business doesnt work (scheduling a meetings) if user has no Exchange Online?

    Matti P

    Hi Matti,

I think I can confirm that the calendar app is not available without a mailbox. I did test by adding the mailbox features to users who previously did not have it and did not see the calendar app. After adding the mailboxes, the app was available again.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Seven,

that means Calendar app is still avaiable only if users have a mailbox on Exchange Online?

This is a recent novelty, because until recently, Teams users could organize an immediate meeting even without an inbox.

    Let me know please.

    Thank you. Best regards.
