I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

I have this issue in Catalina, but the sharing setting was set properly. It's and miss as to whether it works.

It is downright embarrassing to start a videoconference and then have to kill it to try and fix the problem. Heck, I had to use audio only last time.

I have MacOS 10.15.3 and Teams version 1.3.00.362 and I still have the issue.  I have checked the screen recording and it doesn't matter whether in full screen or not, I cannot share Excel or Word files.

I am still having this problem. The only thing I found that works is for the person I'm meeting with on Teams and on PC is for them to start a sharing session, then pass controls to me. That was weird but it did work.
