I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
I've tried uninstalling a few times, even with advanced instructions to remove cache directories and indexes. I've quit out of webex which I use in meetings to share screens sometimes but to no avail.
This only fixes the issue temporarily if at all. Even though teams in checked in security preferences it still asks for permission and I cant share
I did try the uninstall and re-installation yesterday and it worked for a couple test meetings. This morning again the same issue of not being able to share due to the permissions.
Computer was not restarted in between, teams remained open, no additional applications were launched. This bug is completely erratic.
Same for me. Sometime it works and sometimes not. Haven't found out the root cause and the reason for this behaviour. Hopefully Microsoft fixes this issue fast.
