I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

    Hi Mario,

Have no idea didn't get any reply from them.

But I found another solution to it (hope temporary).

making screen sharing with Teams browser app.

    Hi Betty,

Even when this option is on, I'm still unable to share my screen...

Teams keeps on popping up that I need to change the security&privacy settings.

Is there any other setting that I overlooked?

This is becoming quite annoying, that I'm unable to share my screen.  Even a deinstall and reinstall will not help.

    Hi Jorn,

for me it helped when Teams isn't launched in Fullscreen. When it's not in FullScreen mode I can share my screen successfully. I use this as a workaround to be able to share my screen, what I'm doing like a dozen times per day.
