I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
Full screen hack works for me. So its somewhat manageable now, but yeah this has to be fixed.

I already did the steps mention by Don but it doesn't work yet,
Also uninstalled and reinstalled the Teams app for Mac but nothing,
What else i can do?

since the latest MacOS update yesterday I'm not able to share my screen anymore. Teams asks me to set the appropriate setting in the preferences panel, but it is already set. Even re-granting the permission does not help. Since I often have to share my screen with my colleagues in my daily work, I would be available for advice.

I have this exact issue. I have set the preferences in the system panel. I tried removing and re-adding screen recording. I have rebooted. Nothing works. By the way I have this same issue with Skype for Business. Not sure if this is Microsoft or Apple, but it needs fixed. I share my screen often.
