I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
Teams stopped working today for me to. I was in the middle of a screen share, had to hang up for a moment, called in again, suddenly Teams changed it's mind and is blocking me from sharing my screen. Tells me to go and enable Screen Recording in Security and Privacy Settings but I've already done that. Reinstalling Teams didn't fix the problem either. Big bad bug guys, fix this now.
Wow, this is looking more like an Apple bug to me now. Saw some other replies which said "start quitting other apps until it works" and wow... I finally found out that if I quit the LINE app on my Mac, that I can screen share in Teams again. Not sure how to get Apple to fix this but glad I have a workaround.
Same issue here, quite frustrating. Zoom screen sharing works fine, however teams and skype for biz dont
