I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

System Preferences

Security & Privacy

Privacy

Screen Recording

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

    Hi!

For me the issue seems to be solved.

Yesterday I was unable to share my screen. Today in the morning (CET) everything works as expected.

I have version 1.2.00.28258 updated on Oct 22. (which is strange, must be a backend update then, since my issues was resolved during the night.)

It seems very hit and miss at the moment, I am on this version. After uninstalling re-accepting the screen share preferences and rebooting, I am ok. Same fix, same version not so much for other users.

I have the teams box checked in Screen Recording/Security & Privacy, but I still get a popup stating, "we need your permission to.... go to Security & Privacy, Screen Recording.... It's circular firing squad... Any other advice?

    I have the same problem.

Screen recording is permitted in Security & privacy, but I cannot share my screen any more.
