I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
I see the same thing. I can share a specific presentation if I am in an audio/video call, but it won't let me share the screen. And yes, the checkbox for allowing screen recording is enabled. I closed and opened Teams several times to no effect.
It keeps telling me:
Same exact problem as you Joe and versions. Undo whatever you did for this release. I probably use sharing 4 hours/day.
I have Catalina as well and this WAS working yesterday. This morning, Teams was updated to 1.2.00.28258 and now I can no longer share my screen. It could also be related to the MacOS update that happened yesterday. The preference box is checked in the panel; I have checked and un-checked it, rebooted, etc. and still Teams is sure that it does not have permissions to share.
Having the same issue as you, LastCrusader. Didn't have the problem when initially updating to MacOS Catalina, but now with the 2nd update from yesterday I can no longer share it.
