I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

Screen Recording

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

OK - clarification, it's now working.

After I installed Catalina, I attempted to do a direct screen share with a colleague (using the Up Arrow in the Box icon).  That is what gave me the message about needing permissions, but when I got there, there were no entries for Teams to select.

I went to the Calendar link

    and clicked Meet Now

When I did that, I received a different Pop Up (a Mac pop-up) asking me to grant permission to add Teams to Screen Recording.  Now I have Teams under Screen Recording and am able to properly share my screen!  I know others have indicated it works temporarily for them - my original problem was getting Teams to appear under Screen Recording.  It appears starting a "Meeting" vs a simple screen share request is what triggered MacOS to prompt/add MS Teams to the list.

I have the same problem - updated to Catalina and now Teams will not share my screen.  Under SECURITY & PRIVACY > SCREEN RECORDING, I don't have an option for Teams.

I've uninstalled/re-installed Teams, I've cleared the Teams cache ~Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/indexedDB - no luck.  Please fix, this is a real problem.
