I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

Definitely not resolved. Getting this all across our company with users that upgraded to Catalina. Any ETA on a new update for Teams?

    Hi,

I don't think it is solved. At least not for me.

    Regards

I am still seeing the same behavior, and I have not seen an update to Teams for Mac get pushed.  I am still on 1.2.0.0.28258 which installed on 15 October.  Here is what I see when I click the "Start sharing your screen" button.  The Security & Privacy settings already have Teams selected.

    Hi All,

Sorry for the late reply. According to my tests, the issue is fixed in the latest release of Teams for Mac desktop client. Please make sure your desktop client is up to date and double check whether it is fixed on your side.

If you still encounter this kind of issues, please let me know following information in the forum:

    1. A screenshot of the error message.
    2. The version number of your Teams desktop client.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Regards,

    Rick
