I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.
Great... thanks. Also, What I encountered was that once the opened apps were displayed using the full screen mode, I could then return to a partial/sized screen and the Share Screen attribute retained access to all my screens and apps. Thanks, Bob

I found an interesting workaround -
If my teams is windowed then I always get the following
"We need permission to share your screen Go to Security & Privacy"
But in full screen mode, it appears to work.
same session - just go to full screen and it works, go back to windowed mode and it stops working...
This worked for me as well...not having sharing is almost as bad as not having chat. Thank you for finding this workaround.
