I updated to MacOS Catalina and now I cannot share my app screens. I can share my desktop, but that is all others can see.

Found it.

My system had an entry (unchecked) for Microsoft teams. I think it asked me as I was launching but I blew by it. Not sure how you'd add it if it's not there. You just have to turn it on, and Teams screen sharing will work.

This problem is not only Teams.  I was just in a Webex call, initiated through Chrome (because Catalina misbehaves with Webex desktop app).  When I tried to share my screen, I got a similar message about allowing Chrome access to showing the screen.  But when I ticked the box, nothing improved.

When I put Chrome into Full Screen, the screen sharing worked no trouble.  Same thing most of us see with Teams.

The problem persists even if I have the ticker right. However I have same poblem with google chrome, which means it might be combination of Apple and MS. Which means we are all doomed :)

    Hi MR Invictus & OpieOS,

Our relevant are aware of this issue in the version 1.2.00.28258. I kept in touch with them and was told that they are deploying a fix in the next release. And the next release will be rolled out shortly in the future. Your understanding and patience would be highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Rick
